Welcome!

The Town of Abingdon's Veterans Advisory Board invites the veterans of our congregation to participate in Veteran's Voices of Southwest Virginia, an oral history project now in its second year. This initiative captures the experiences of local veterans through short video interviews, preserving their stories for future generations. 

Each participant answers the same set of questions, and their recorded interviews are archived on the Historical Society of Washington County's YouTube page. These videos serve as a lasting tribute, accessible to family, friends, historians, and the broader community.
